Mr. Md. Monitur Rahman has recently joined IFIC Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director and Chief of Operations & Information Technology.
Prior to joining IFIC Bank, Mr. Monitur held the position of Head, Country Technology in Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh. He had spent 25 years of his career with National Board of Revenue, ANZ Grindlays Bank, Standard Chartered Grindlays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank where he held various Operational and Technical leadership positions. He started his banking career in 1997 with ANZ Grindlays Bank.
Mr. Monitur holds a Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and the MBA from North South University. He is also a Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh.
