IFIC Bank observes National Mourning Day

IFIC Bank Limited on Sunday (15th August, 2021) observed the National Mourning Day through different activities marking the 46th anniversary of the martyrdom of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and unto those who were martyred on 15th August, 1975. 

A webinar was held with all employees of the Bank chaired by MD & CEO of the Bank, Mr Shah A Sarwar. He stated the importance of life lessons & Visions of Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman to our advancement and the development of the country. IFIC Bank upholds the ideals of the Father of the Nation and is moving forward following his directions.

Bangabandhu’s historic 7th March, 1971 Speech was also displayed in the virtual program.  Earlier the event was started with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and a minute of silence commemorating the day. A special Duah was offered seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu and other martyrs along with prayer for protection from COVID pandemic situation. 

Earlier, Senior Management of the bank also planted trees at IFIC Head Office premise along with a Branch and an Uposhakha in the same occasion.
